Barcelona June 19-20

When we arrived in Barcelona we took a cab to our hotel 30{.
After a light breakfast we ask the desk clerk how to get to the cathederal. He motions to the left and said only a 20 minute walk. So, off we go walking to the cathederal. We are following Elizabeth. She normally has a good sence of direction, however there are times when I get the feeling we are going in circles. One thing for sure is Oglethorpe did not lay out the plans for Barcelona. As it is certainly not on a grid. One of the streets is called the Diagonal Street. But, everything is so interesting noone seems to care. Somehow we end up on Las Ramlas street. That is so fun. Las Ramblas is like Pearl Street in Boulder CO only more so. I will send pictures of just Las Ramlas. Finally, I suggest cutting through an alley. We haven't been through any alley's. So we do and at the end of the alley are those beautiful spirals. You can only enter from 1-5 and the cost is 5{ so we decide to have something cold to drink and wait until tomorrow when we are rested. We find a taxi and go to our room. We go to bed at 4pm and wake up at 9am. Well, needless to say we are ready to sight see NOW!!
